Port Stephens Coaches operates school and route service buses on behalf of Transport for NSW and are currently working to the regular timetable. However, should this change unexpectedly, updates will be posted to our website and social media pages.
Parents are encouraged to regularly check for announcements regarding bus services in case changes happen unexpectedly outside of school hours. Regular checks to our website & social media will ensure you have the most up to date information.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19;
PSC actively promotes good personal hygiene & social distancing measures within our workplace.
PSC has significantly increased cleaning of its fleet. All touch points are cleaned with hospital grade disinfectant before and after each service.
Opal readers at the front of the bus are closed as well as the area around the driver is restricted to help keep them safe.
Air-conditioner filters are regularly being checked and cleaned.
Student numbers on buses are constantly being monitored to allow for as much social distancing where possible.
Students are requested to observe this social distancing requirement and also to use good hygiene habits whilst on the bus.
If your child is ill or has any symptoms of the Coronavirus, please do not allow them to catch the bus.
As per Transport for NSW policy, under no circumstances will any student not be allowed onto a bus service. This includes both dedicated school services AND regular timetabled services. School students will be given priority over other passengers, even if this means that a service goes over the social distancing guidelines.
As more information comes to hand, we will update the above accordingly. If we can assist further, please do not hesitate to make contact with our Operations Team.
