DAY 1: Tuesday 13 October 2020 (MT, L, D)
Our first day on tour will see us travelling south and stopping on route at Bald Hill lookout to see the grand views of Seacliff Bridge and the stunning beaches below. We continue to Berkeley to visit the largest Buddhist Temple in the Southern Hemisphere, the Nan Tien Temple. We enjoy lunch of authentic vegetarian cuisine followed by a guided tour through the unique grounds and the temple. The focus here is on the exchange of eastern and western cultures and the interchange of the traditional and the modern. This afternoon we discover the power and beauty of the world famous Kiama Blowhole before arriving at your resort located in the beautiful surrounds of Shoalhaven.

DAY 2: Wednesday 14 October 2020 (B, L, D)
This morning we cruise the unspoilt coastline and natural beauty of Jervis Bay Marine Park and unravel its secrets only accessible by water. Witness the amazing high sea cliffs and rugged headlands of Point Perpendicular, a natural lagoon of Honey Bay and abundant wildlife in their natural habitat, whilst exploring the whitest sand in the world at the famous Hyams Beach. Lunch is enjoyed at nearby Portside Café followed by free time to explore the beautiful surrounds of Jervis Bay and Huskisson. Next is a visit to the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum featuring world renowned collection of maritime artefacts and navigational and surveying instruments. The Museum is also home to the historic Lady Denman Ferry and other historic vessels.

DAY 3: Thursday 15 October 2020 (B, D)
After a leisurely breakfast we take a scenic drive to the charming historic town of Berry to visit the must see event of NSW’s South Coast, The Berry Gardens Festival. With blossom trees, bulbs and flowering shrubs adorning each and every garden it is truly a visual delight. Each garden is selected for the design, plant variety and creativity. There will be free time to browse specialty shops, craft stores and gift stores in Berry Village and have lunch (AOE) at the array of tempting cafes on offer. This afternoon you are in for a treat visiting Coolangatta Estate Winery, surrounded by sprawling vineyards and landscaped grounds it is the site of the first European settlement on the South Coast of NSW. On arrival you will be greeted with a thrilling scenic ride to the summit of Mt Coolangatta via a 4wd tractor bus. You will see some of the best coastal views and hear the story of the Coolangatta Estate from convict-built beginnings to present day Award-Winning Winery. You will have the chance to sample the estate’s finest drops and then sit down to enjoy a delicious two course meal.

DAY 4: Friday 16 October 2020 (B, MT, D)
This morning we take a guided tour of the Bundanon Homestead and Arthur Boyd’s Studio. Experience artwork from Bundanon’s extensive collection and wander through the iconic landscape that inspired one of Australia’s greatest artists. After a bite of morning tea here we make our way through to Kangaroo Valley, reputedly one of the only seven enclosed valleys in the world, nestled between the scenic Cambewarra and Barrengarry Mountains, the area is famous for its country village ambience and spectacular mountain scenery. Enjoy lunch (AOE) and free time exploring the town’s art galleries, cafes, stone pub, handicraft stores and antique shops before we make our way to Hampden Bridge, Built over the Kangaroo River in 1898, it is the oldest suspension bridge in Australia. With its famous stone turrets, it provides commanding views over the winding river below. Our last stop before our overnight stop in Mittagong is the magnificent Fitzroy Falls. Dropping over 80 metres into the upper reaches of the Kangaroo Valley the waterfalls are recognised for the dramatic beauty set amongst untouched natural wilderness.

DAY 5: Saturday 17 October 2020 (B, MT, L)
Being the last day on tour we travel north stopping at the historic Camden Park Estate to visit Belgenny Farm. Established in 1805, the farm contains the earliest collection of colonial farm buildings in Australia. Our guide will lead us through this remarkable site telling stories of Australian history. After a delicious Devonshire tea in the cottage rooms we continue our journey home stopping for lunch at Kariong’s Waterfall Café, nestled over the cascading ponds of the Mount Penang Parklands.
