Does the Sydney Express Service run more than once a day?

No, the Sydney Express leaves Port Stephens in the morning and returns in the afternoon. There is only one service a day.

Can you use Opal on the Sydney Service?

No, our Sydney service is a private chartered service which means Opal is not accepted.

Can you board the Sydney Coach without booking and pay cash?

You can only board the Sydney coach and pay cash for a ONE WAY booking. All return bookings must be pre-booked and paid.

Do you have a bus shuttle service from the Airport into Newcastle?

We have a Public Bus service that runs to a timetable Monday – Sunday. This accepts cash, opal and credit / debit cards that use pay wave.

Can I buy a concession fare on the service bus with cash?

No, when paying cash, there is no concession / pensioner discounts. It is a flat rate based on the distance you travel.

Can I buy a senior / pensioner opal card from Port Stephens Coaches?

No, you must apply for these opal cards online at www.opal.com.au. These will then be sent to your given address. We can only issue Adult and Child / Youth opal cards.

How do I request a quote for a vehicle hire / charter?

Can the Sydney coach pick up / drop off wherever I desire?

No, our Sydney service runs to a timetable and will only pick up / drop off at our designated locations which are listed on our website.

Will the bus / coach wait for me if my train / plane is delayed? (this question applies for Sydney Service and Service route).

No, our services all run to a timetable which are not implemented to wait for delayed trains / planes.
